President for FBI KC Citizens Academy

Michael K. Ryan was elected president in 2023, having graduated from the Citizens Academy in the fall of 2017. He enjoys being part of an organization that supports law enforcement for a safer community. Michael has been working in the wealth management industry with the same firm for over 30 years. He is a William Jewell College graduate and was a captain of the football team. Michael has been married for 30 years and is the proud father of 3 adult children. In his spare time he enjoys obstacle course endurance races, and plays the bagpipes.
