The Mission The FBI Kansas City Citizens Academy Alumni Association (founded in 1999) is a member of the FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association. The FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association is a community-based and supported organization, distinct and separate from the FBI. The Mission of the FBI Kansas City Citizens Academy Alumni Association is to promote a safer community through a process of educating community leaders about law enforcement, particularly the FBI and to provide assistance through our Fallen Officers Fund, to the children of sworn law enforcement officers in our area who are killed in the line of duty. Each member of the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association is a graduate of an eight-week FBI Citizens Academy curriculum that focuses on federal law enforcement issues and challenges. That network of alumni meets periodically to update graduates on federal law enforcement issues and provide education on state and local law enforcement matters. | Interested in learning more about the FBI Citizens Academy – Kansas CityThe Citizens Academy gives business, civic, community, and religious leaders an inside look of the FBI. Selected attendees are given an overview of the FBI’s structure and jurisdiction in weekly sessions taught by FBI agents. It’s a chance to review case studies, discuss legal issues, and listen to presentations by specialized units such as the Evidence Response Team and the SWAT team. Have you moved recently?
